hurray! i have finally finished my NVQ teaching assistant course.I did it to prove to myself that i do have a brain and not just a mom and a carer. I thought about doing Level 3 course but it is alot more work than the level 2 which i have just completed. I found it hard to fit all the studying in and care for my daughter and run the house at the same time. Also too care for my other 2 able children. I dont think i will be doing level 3. I feel a bit guilty about not doing it but i have commitments here and the fact that i have done level 2 is amazing to me!! i never thought i would do it.

I went back to college a good few years ago and had to give up when I started my GINVQ Advanced which is a level three in business studies. I may not of been able to go out to work but the information which I gained in my studies has provided me with some good skills during my unpaid caring role.
Good luck and hope you enjoy putting to good use what you learnt while gaining a very useful qualification.

Tue 22 Jan 2008 21:57i must be a big sucker for punishment cos i thought "sod it " and made enquiries about NVQ level 3 teaching assisitant. I may not be able to go to work straight away cos of my caring role here but i will gain extra qualifications and skills if i do it.
