Familyfund who qualifies?

Not sure i understand about the holiday fund ,how does one qualify?my youngest son is sixteen ,my partner is disabled and i am his carer and also being treated for depression,we are on benefit and have not the spare money for a holiday,we have not been away for over 12 years,could someone advise us if we should apply?thankyou Blink emoticon

The Family Fund can provides grants for holidays and other things to families with severely disabled children,aged 15 or under.

i have just been turned down by the family fund for a holiday,we also like yourself have not been away for 10 years and thought of asking for a bit of help,but ive noticed people saying that is for SEVERELY disabled children but i know people whos children are no were near severely disabled and they have been awared the family fund.

Hi, My daughter has ADHD and we have been been fortunate to have recieved grants from the FF for the past 3 years.She is not Severely disabled, though Im sure being in reciept of DLA may help with the application process.
