What can I say, I been thrown in the deep end... My partner was originally diagnosed 2 years ago with SPD when she fell pregnant with oour daughter.. 2 Years down the line she has made no improvement and now the docs hace decided she has Osteoartritis of lower back, hips, knees, shoulders, wrists, basically she is riddled with it and mobility is a huge problem.
And I am at a loss as what to do and where to turn to....

Wed 31 Jan 2007 13:12Hi Runedragon,if you look after your daughter full time then you are certainly in the right place as you are one of us,a carer.What you need to do is contact your local PRT carers centre,they will give you all the practical and emotional help you will need & put you in touch with organisations that can also help.I should know as I look after my dad who is crippled with the same affliction and is hardly mobile at all,my local centre have been brilliant cant praise them highly enough..All the best JIM

Just read your posting & wanted to say Hi and welcome. I care for my husband who is mentally ill but find the discussion boards help a lot. Sometimes its hard for me to use the chatrroom in the evenings but everyone anywhere on the site has always been really kind and made me feel welcome and not so lonely.
