South Warwickshire Carers' Support Service
South Warwickshire Carers' Support Service exists to provide emotional support, information, advice, advocacy and assistance to those providing unpaid care to a relative, friend or other person who is disabled, frail or has a long term illness.
We work towards increasing awareness of the role played by carers in maintaining the care of others within local communities and towards increasing recognition of the real expertise they have to offer and the contribution they make to society.
We have two Carers’ Advisers who cover Warwick and Stratford Districts, along with specialist advisers for Carers’ of people with Learning Disabilities and for Black and Ethnic Minority Carers. Our Primary Care Post is aimed at raising awareness in GP Practices.
We offer a telephone helpline from 9.30-4.00p.m. each week day, please ring us on 01926 485486 id you need support or advice.
Our Carers' Support Advisers will arrange to meet you at a suitable venue or visit you in your own home.
