The ever changing internal and external environment presents us with many opportunities but also huge challenges to be overcome. With an aging population and high levels of employment, carers in employment need to be supported in their caring role. There is no doubt that carers are on the political and social agenda in a way they never have been before and we must capitalise on this. The key to our work will be to provide a range of sustainable and flexible services that meet carers’ needs.
