Computer training for carers
Our computer training classes offer carers the opportunity to learn computer basics and gain confidence in using the computer. Carers can learn to use email to keep in touch with friends and family, surf the internet for holidays and shop from home. There are no exams or tests to worry about.
The IT classes are held in our training room at Mansel Street, where small groups of four to five ‘beginners’ are trained together for two hours a week for six weeks.
We have computers to lend to carers who don’t have a computer at home. We will deliver the computer to the carer’s home, set it up for them and then help them get started with using it.
