Swansea Carers’ Centre is a local charity supporting carers within the City & County of Swansea. We support all carers of those with an illness or disability, including learning disability, mental health problems, physical disability, dementia and other long term limiting illnesses. This also includes parents of children with a disability or chronic illness.
We give much needed support and information to carers across Swansea by providing respite care, welfare benefits advice, access to grants and special funds, advocacy services, a counselling service, carers’ mutual support groups, training, consultation opportunities and a drop in service. We organise regular coffee mornings and social occasions.
