10am-2.30pm at Ty'r Binwydden

A one day course to meet the needs of informal, family Carers. Helping the Carer to look after their own backs and well-being whilst helping the person they care for e.g.

How to help someone to move safely from:
Chair to standing
Chair to chair/toilet
chair to bed

A range of equipment will be demonstrated including
slide sheets (helping to slide the person in bed without lifting and straining the back)
wheelchairs
Hoists & slings

The fully qualified trainer is an ex-nurse with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
