Carer's Fieldworker

Nicola is our part time Carer's Fieldworker who started working with NEWCIS in May 2007. Nicola aims to provide a point of contact for Carer's living and caring in Denbighshire by organising Carer's Support Groups, Trips, Events and also One-to-One Support. Part of Nicola's job role is to identify "Hidden Carer's" within the county and raise awareness of Carer's issues within Statutory and Voluntary Organsations in Denbighshire.

Carolyn Hildebrandt

Carer's Administrator

Carolyn is our part time Carer's Service Administrator. She started working with NEWCIS in December 2007. Her job role is to offer administrative support to the NEWCIS Denbighshire Team. She is also responsible for maintaining the Denbighshire Carer's Database and Webpage.

Lynne Simpkin

Carer Facilitator in Primary Care.

Lynne is our part time Carers coordinator / Primary Care Facilitator. Her main job role is to manage the NEWCIS Denbighshire team and to work with all GP Practices and Primary health care staff in Denbighshire. The purpose is to help increase awareness of Carers issues within Primary Care. The 1999 National Carers' Strategy identified the NHS as being the single most important point of contact for many Carers. A large proportion of Carers are unknown to any organisations that could help/support them in their role, so finding information about available support from their surgeries and GP's can really help.

Lynne is currently on maternity leave and will return late 2008. We wish her all the best!
