Carers Support Officer / Learning Disabilities

Delyth works with older parents of adults with a learning disability in Gwynedd to help them to plan ahead for the future.

Emergency Planning Officer/Field Officer

The Emergency Planning Officer works with carers to anticipate any crisis which could affect their caring role and assists them to put plans in place to ensure the wellbeing of their dependant in the event of an emergency. Home visits are available.

Bethan Morris

Field Officer / Emergency Planning Officer Dwyfor Area

The Field Officer facilitates support groups / social events and drop-in sessions for carers and is able to provide home visits to housebound carers. The Field Officer can offer emotional support and information including sign posting to other agencies.

Gwyneth Roberts

Field Officer for parents/carers of children with additional needs and parents/carers of adults with a learning disability

The Field Officer works closely with parent/carers in Gwynedd to ensure that they are receiving and are happy with the services to which they are entitled. Regular consultation meetings are arranged. The Field Officer can also provide emotional support and home visits.

Barbara Thomas (Bangor Centre)

Field Officer - Arfon

The Field Officer is available at the centre every Thursday from 10 - 12 for carers who wish to call in with any queries/concerns related to caring. Appointments can be made for other days or the Field Officer is able to make home visits to carers who are unable to attend the centre.
The Field Officer also facilitates regular carers support groups.
