Time for Carers
Carers can obtain free equipment, i.e. baby listeners, cordless phones, for 'peace of mind' breaks through accessing Time for Carers.
They can also gain free respite of up to 12 hours per Carer per year. Hours can be split up to enable a Carer to attend classes for example.
There is also support for group activities which can cover expenses for speakers, or outings.
Some funds are also available to pay for a residential care placement for a week to give Carers a holiday. This is only available to people who would find funding it themselves difficult.
