Black and Minority Ethnic Carers

Developing a range of services to support carers from the ethnic minorities to reduce social isolation and promote social inclusion.

Mental Health Carers Team

Provide support, information and advice for Carers of those suffering from mental illness. Activities include support groups, specialist training and one-to-one help.

Young Carers Team

Provide services and activities for young carers. Activities include monthly activity group meetings for the 5-9, 9-13 and 13-18 age groups; visits and outings to places of interest (Chessington, Thorpe Park, Gullivers World)+ other events as arranged.

Lynne is also a Connexions-trained "PA 3" working one-to-one with young carers who need extra help to cope with their often stressful lives.

Support and Information Team

Provide advice, information and emotional support to all Carers. Developing a range of support services for Carers, including parent and working Carers.

Responsible for keeping the admin and support running in the Aylesbury and Wycombe offices.
