On 6 April 2007 new UK legislation came into force which will give Scottish employees who are unpaid Carers for adults who are chronically ill, disabled or frail the statutory right to request flexible working.
To mark the introduction of the new law Carers Scotland has produced a booklet called "The employees guide to work and caring".
Carers Scotland and BT have produced new information booklets for employers about flexible working and its benefits to employers and employees.
