PASSPORT TO LEISURE
Passport to Leisure is a concession scheme (half price) which allows the member access to all parks, libraries, leisure centres and theatres within North Lanarkshire. Until June 1997, membership of the scheme was limited to the unemployed, students, senior citizens and those in receipt of state pensions like Family Credit and Income Support. Carers could only qualify if they were in receipt of Carers Allowance. Following discussion with Princess Royal Trust Lanarkshire Carers Centre, North Lanarkshire Council is allowing all Carers to access the scheme. South Lanarkshire Carers can access it however it is only available in North Lanarkshire Premises. For further information and to receive your Carer RegistrationCard, please contact the Hamilton Centre on 01698 428090.
