Project Manager

The Project Manager oversees the day to day activities within the centre and provides support to the Board of Directors in implementing longer term plans for centre. This involves managing and supporting staff to ensure that the centre reaches out to people who care for others in order to provide useful, high quality support for them. It also involves finding ways to encourage Carers to speak out about their experiences in order that they help shape and improve support for Carers throughout the area. The Project Manager represents the interests of the Centre in various forums and groups.

Support Worker

The role of the Support Worker is to help Carers in all aspects of their caring role. This may involve signposting to services, organising short breaks and training opportunities or providing Carers with relevant information. The support worker is also available within the centre to provide a listening ear.

Fiona Moore

Administration/ Information Worker

The main role of the Administration/ Information Worker is to welcome Carers and visitors to the centre, provide a range of administration support throughout all aspects of the project and ensure that Carers are supported and kept fully informed about all areas relating to their caring role.

Brenda Tinney

Outreach Support Worker

The role of the Outreach Support Worker is to bring help and support to Carers. These may be Carers who have not had any previous contact with the centre or others who are unable to come in to the centre due to their caring role or other reasons. The centre operates an outreach programme visiting various community settings on a monthly basis and support groups as and when invited. Our Outreach Worker also has a key role in undertaking home visits to Carers who are unable to leave their own home.
