The Princess Royal Trust West Lancashire Carers Centre is holding a Soul Night to celebrate Christmas with a bang and to raise money to help keep your Carers Centre up and running!
Come and dance the night away at the Burscough Stanley Club at our Christmas Soul Night, starring ultimate Soul extravaganza Special Edition! They’ll be playing all the classics like Mustang Sally by the Commitments and memorable songs from the Blues Brother musical and many, many more.
Included in the ticket price is a two course hot meal – a hotpot supper with home made apple pie and fresh cream! Unbeatable value for just £8.00 a go. So come on down, bring all your friends and family for this fantastic night out. Not only will you have a ball but you will support your local Carers Centre too – all proceeds from the night will go towards more fun events for carers!
There are an estimated six million people in the UK caring for a loved one who can’t manage without their support. There are an estimated 12,500 Carers living in West Lancashire, many of whom don’t recognise themselves as carers and aren’t aware of the support and services available to them. This is why it is especially important that the Princess Royal Trust West Lancs Carers Centre is able to continue supporting local carers. So come and support us at the Soul Night, a Christmas Party for you and a Christmas Gift for the Carers Centre both at the same time.
“We’re urging anyone with caring responsibilities or an interest in the future of the Carers Centre to please purchases a ticket and come and show your support. Caring will touch us all at some point in our lives, be it son or daughter, elderly parents or even our parents and friends so the Centre is here for everybody in the community, After all we are a Charity like any other and we rely on the support of Local Authorities and donations from community members to continue our work. Any proceeds made from the Soul Night go to the Carers Centre so we can continue to offer Carers in the area the support they need” says Jacqui Sutton, Senior Development Officer at the Carers Centre.
The Christmas Soul Night will take place at Burscough’s Stanley Club, Liverpool Road North, Burscough L40 5TN on Friday 14th December 2007 and the bar will be open 7.30pm – 11pm. Anyone wishing to attend the Lancashire Night or support The Princess Royal Trust West Lancashire Carers Centre in any other way should contact Rachael Howard on 01695 737777.
