Lyn Ankers
Advice for Carers Project Worker (East Cheshire)
Based at our office in Macclesfield, Lyn provides advice, information and support to Carers in the East Cheshire area - including Macclesfield, Knutsford and Congleton. Lyn links with other Centre staff to provide advice and information on all aspects of caring for Carers - including welfare benefits and information on local services.
Lyn generally works on Tues, Weds and Fridays and can be contacted on 01625 616686 at the office which is based at the CVS Building, 81 Park Lane, Macclesfield, SK11 6TX.

Janice Birdsey
Carer Support Worker (Vale Royal)
Janice started in June 2005 and provides support to Carers living in the Vale Royal area. Regular drop in sessions for information and support take place in Winsford, Frodsham and Northwich.
Ursula Burrows
Carers of Older People Project Administrator
Ursula provides part-time administrative support to our Carers of Older People Project based in Crewe.
Ann Clark
Disabled Children's Database Co-ordinator
Ann is responsible for establishing and maintaining a database of children with disabilities in Cheshire. A regular newsletter then provides information for parents.
Sheila Dean
Advice & Information Officer
Sheila provides information, advice and support to Carers making contact with the Centre on all aspects of Carers'lives including benefits,local information,disability equipment, etc. Helps with social and special interest sessions for Carers and leads the Greenfingers Group for Carers who have an interest in plants and gardening.
Also has responsibility for the recruitment, training and organisation of a team of 11 volunteers.
Kathy Gibson
Admin Assistant
From 1st February 2008, Kathy will mainly provide administrative support to our Advice for Carers Workers.
David Harvey
Chief Executive
David has overall responsibility for strategic and operational matters. He is also responsible for fundraising and line managing paid staff.
Ruth Hunt
Information Systems Co-ordinator
Ruth manages the information resources which support staff and volunteers delivering information advice and support to Carers. She maintains the Centre's information database (INCHES) of 800+ information records. She writes and updates the Centre's Factsheets for Carers.
Tracey Johnson
Finance, Personnel and Admin Assistant (P/time)
Tracey together with Barbara provides Finance and Personnel support for the Centre.
Barbara Prince
Finance & Personnel Officer (P/time)
Barbara ensures that all the finances, paperwork and computer based data related to Cheshire Carers Centre are in order. She also deals with personnel issues and maintains records of staff and volunteers.
