The Princess Royal Trust Cheshire Carers Centre

New Staff for Advice for Carers Project - East and West Cheshire

Following a successful bid to the Big Lottery’s Advice Plus programme last autumn, the Centre has appointed two new members of staff. Lyn Ankers and Rosita Wrigley join the Centre as Advice for Carers Workers to provide an extended service to Carers in the East (Lyn) and West (Rosita) of the County. Lyn and Rosita are both experienced in giving advice and information to carers and are looking forward to their new roles and meeting you all. Rosita who comes to us from a similar post with the Parkinson’s Disease Society and before that worked for the Alzheimer’s Society says “I am really looking forward to using my skills and knowledge to support Carers in West Cheshire.” Lyn also has experience with voluntary organisations including Mencap and has in fact come full circle - she was the original Manager of the Carers Centre when it was first established in 1995 as the Vale Royal Carers Centre. So if Lyn’s face looks familiar that’s why! Lyn says “I am delighted to be back at the Carers Centre after all these years - it will be lovely working with Carers again in East Cheshire.”
