The Princess Royal Trust Cheshire Carers Centre

Advice for Carers Projects - funding success

The Centre is delighted to announce an extension to its services to benefit Carers in East and West Cheshire. The new project ‘Advice for Carers in Cheshire’ is being established thanks to a successful funding bid by the Centre to the Big Lottery’s Advice Plus programme. It provides £135,478 of funding over 3 years and begins in November 2007.

Project staff will provide advice and guidance on benefits, access to services and Carers rights. Drop-in sessions, appointments, regular group meetings and information events will all be available to Carers. The project will integrate with the Centre’s other services such as the Helpline and access to Carers Fund and will work in partnership with other local organisations.
