Carers Celebrate Liverpool's 800th Anniversary

Carers celebrated Liverpool’s 800th anniversary with a party on 28th August at Liverpool Carers Centre. The Centre was decorated with balloons and banners to create a great party atmosphere and singer Tony Lloyd entertained the partygoers with hits by Elvis and Matt Monroe.
A traditional lunch of scouse and apple pie was served courtesy of Help the Aged Festive Meals Grant and afterwards the carers continued the fun by joining in with the singing and dancing.
The party was a great success, with all of the carers thoroughly enjoying the whole afternoon. Some of the carers who attended the party are hoping to organise a similar event for Christmas; if you are interested in attending will you please contact Emma Quinn on 0151 705 2307 for details.
