Offer information, advice, support and a listening ear to any Carers who contact the Centre by telephone or by calling in in person.

Carers Outreach Workers

Identify hidden Carers and offer appropriate support. Visit Carers at home and hold outreach surgeries in different localities. Camille works with Carers from black and minority ethnic communities and speak a range of Asian languages including Urdu, Bengali and Hindi. Carrie works with all Carers.

Hospital Based Carers Support Worker

Based in St James's Hospital, identifying and supporting both new and established carers; offering one-to-one discussions, emotional support and information about other agencies.

Health Development Worker

Increases carer centred support in healthcare settings across Leeds by providing healthcare professionals with information and support to meet carers needs. Involved in professional training, service planning and service development to promote carers issues.

Carers Group Coordinator

Development of carers groups throughout Leeds and supporting existing groups as and when required.
Linking in and working closely with designated social and/or health care staff in the development and running of the groups. This includes facilitating carer group meetings, events and activities, promoting the groups, organising speakers and booking venues.
