Moving On Group
The Moving On Group is run for former Carers who have ceased caring recently or for Carers who care for someone who has moved into a Care Home.
The Group aims to help and support people at what can be a considerable period of transition in the caring role and their lives. The Moving On Group achieves this by providing an opportunity for members to meet with others in similar circumstances in a comfortable and non-threatening environment.
The main activities of the Group are coffee mornings, outings and other social activities which are held once or twice a month throughout the year. All the Group’s events are facilitated by a Carers Support Worker.
