At Carers Leeds, 6-8 The Headrow, Leeds LS1 from 10.30 am – 12.30 pm

For carers who want to reduce the risk of back pain and injuries by learning about assisting people in chairs and beds and assisting mobility and moving in general.

The session will have a practical element, so please come dressed in comfortable clothing and flat shoes. No special equipment will be used, but there will be an opportunity to ask questions about this and other specific situations if desired. You will also learn a little about why moving and handling injuries occur.
