Carers Week is a national awareness week held during June each year. The event was established to promote and raise awareness of the valuable role that unpaid carers play in our community and to generate discussion about carer issues. Carers Week also provides an opportunity for carers to come together, support one another and share ideas and information.

There are a variety of events organised in Leeds to help carers to celebrate Carers Week. This year there will be workshops, talks, day trips, coffee and information. You can download a Carer Week Poster for more information.
