Information, Advice, Support and Advocacy

Islington Carers Forum can offer information on any subject that affects carers. If we do not know the answer, we will 'signpost' to other organisations that can help.

We can also help with advice on a wide range of issues such as housing, benefits, financial help, aids to living, respite care, where to find carers support groups and self-help organisations, transport, etc.

For carers who need help in dealing with complicated red-tape, we can provide an advocacy service in helping them deal with statutory services like the local council and Health Services.

We can also offer support for carers who just need someone to talk to, to get things off their chest.
