Vicky Cran

Schools Liason Officer

Vicky is responsible for building relationships with Barnet's schools to identify and support young carers and siblings within the Borough. she is responsible for the Teacher Awareness Programme and delivering assemblies and other sessions within schools.
Vicky is also responsible for promoting BYCAS activities to teachers and young people as well as contributing to the BYCAS team.

 

Anna Cymbalist

Mental Health Carers Support & Outreach Officer

To provide comprehensive support, information and advice to mental health carers living or working in the London Borough of Barnet. To raise awareness of carers' issues and the Centre's services.

Jahanara Hussain

Welfare Benefits Advisor

Janahara joined the Centre in September 2005. Her role at the Centre is to run our twice monthly Welfare Benefit Surgeries on the first Monday and the third Wednesday of each month.She gives advice and information on all benefit queries relating to Carers.

Fiona Jones

Information and Resources Offficer/ Volunteer Coordinator

Fiona provides support to the Carers Support Team. She is responsible for the production of the quarterly newsletter, keeping the website updated and providing information to both staff and carers.
Maintaining, training and recruiting our team of volunteers is also part of her role.

Sarah Mabger

Adults with Physical & Sensory Impairment Carers Support & Outreach Officer

Sara Mabger manages the Centre's joint project between, The Princess Royal Trust, Barnet Carers Centre and Disability Action in Barnet. The project aims to identify hidden carers in the borough and provide advice, support and information for carers of adults with Physical and Sensory Impairments. The project also aims to raise awareness of carers of adults with physical and sensory impairments within different organisations.

Christine Makemson

Central Administration Team Leader

Christine provides a comprehensive administrative service to the Centre which includes personnel and finance activities.

Yvonne Moyles

Finance Officer

Yvonne maintains finance records for the Centre and monitors income and expenditure. Her other regular activites include administration of the staff renumeration schemes.Yvonne also co-ordinates information, keeps the financial procedures up to date and provides financial management information to the Chief Executive and management Committee.

Masozi Mvula

Carers Support and Outreach Officer for Carers of Adults with Learning Disabilities

Masozi joined the Centre in November 2005. Her post is jointly managed by Barnet Carers Centre and Barnet Mencap where she is part of the Family Support Team.
Her job is to work with carers of adults with learning disabilites, providing support and information as well as to raise awareness of issues affecting this group of carers.

Daniel Newland

Carers Hospital Discharge Coordinator

Supporting carers of recently discharged hospital patients aiding the transition from hospital to homecare.
Providing information and a point of contact to carers whilst highlighting the importance of carer consideration during the discharge process.

Sangita Patel

BYCAS Service Manager

To provide a comprehensive and responsive information, support and advice service to young carers and siblings.
