Christine manages the Centre, gives 1-1 support to carers, runs training courses for carers, organises social activities and makes a grand cuppa!

Janine Baxter

Young Carers Project Co-ordinator

Janine provide support, help and information to our local young carers. They have the chance to meet with one another and enjoy a variety of activities and outings.

Sarah Hillier

Advocacy co-ordinator

Sarah provides help with benefits, support at social services reviews, assessments, meetings and help with complaints and representation at tribunals.

Sitting Service Co Ordinator

The Sitting Service provides Carers with valuable respite time. Carefully selected volunteers will come into the home and keep the person who is cared for company, giving the Carer some time for themselves.

This is a free service.

Carer Support Worker

Deb provides support and advice for carers and informs them about local support networks or national information if appropriate.

She also manages the centres Sitting Service by recruting volunteers and matching them with carers and those they care for.

Malena Parsons

Public Participation & Liaison Project

The National Health Service plan published in 2000 emphasised the importance of patient and public involvement. The project reflects this by working closely with local surgeries and their patients and carers.
