Manchester Carers Centre was established in 1997, our shared mission is at the heart of all our services - “improving carers' lives in Manchester”.
Manchester Carers centre is an independent voluntary organisation that delivers a range of a high quality support services to meet the needs of adult carers from all diverse communities in Manchester.
The centre was established in 1995 and has developed an excellent reputation for serving Carers across Manchester.
We are affiliated to the Princess Royal Trust network of Carers Centres across the U.K to ensure our services operate to the highest standards. We collectively influence and promote Carers issues and policy development at local, regional and national levels. We aim to improve services for Carers to impact positively on the quality of their lives and the individuals they care for. Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal is President of the Princess Royal Trust for Carers and has personally visited Manchester Carers Centre to take a keen interest in our progress since she officially opened the centre in 1997.
We are an extremely busy provider for all Carers in the City working alongside an important range of complimentary organisations from the voluntary and statutory sector.
Manchester Carers Centre is proud of our ability to identify and reach out to new Carers and support them in a preventative way. We demonstrate that when timely and effective help is offered, Carers can be reached before breaking point – giving them the strength and resolve to continue to care for individuals with disabilities.
Manchester Carers Centre helps Carers who are in crisis, we assist individuals and their families with complex needs to help them regain control over their lives, and improve their health, wellbeing and quality of life.
