The Carers Centre for Brighton and Hove

The Carers’ Centre for Brighton & Hove aims to:
• Enable carers to gain greater access to information, practical and emotional support, activities, services and facilities

• Identify and prioritise the needs of carers and develop appropriate services as resources become available

•Support carers and ex-carers to have an independent voice to positively and effectively influence the development of relevant local services provided by relevant statutory and voluntary organisations

• Promote a positive image of carers, generating a deeper understanding and wider recognition of carers’ issues

• Utilise resources within the organisation in the most effective and efficient manner and work towards a recognised quality assurance framework

The Carers Centre for Brighton & Hove is a registered charity, established in 1988 and was one of the first services in the UK to support unpaid carers.

We work with anyone who looks after a partner, family, member or friend because of ill health, disability or old age. If you live within the unitary authority of Brighton & Hove and are a carer (even if the person you care for doesn't) then get in touch if you need information or support.
