Carole Cochrane, Acting Chief Executive

Carole is Acting Chief Executive and the main spokesperson for The Princess Royal Trust for Carers. For the past 13 years she has been working at a senior level to support carers, most recently as our Assistant Director Operations in the North. Carole is able to discuss all issues relating to carers and the work of The Trust.

Florence Burke, Director for Scotland

Florence joined The Trust in March 2008, after 11 years with CEiS (Community Enterprise in Scotland), providing tailored support to social economy organisations, such as Carers’ Centres and leading on a range of regeneration initiatives. Florence is our main spokesperson for carers' issues in Scotland.

Alex Fox, Assistant Director (Policy & Service Development)

Alex is available to talk about policy and legislation, specialist carers’ services such as mental health carers’ support, Third Sector / funding issues and carers’ rights. Alex is also very knowledgeable about young carers’ issues and has had experience in the past working directly with young carers.

Ruth Clark, Assistant Director Operations Scotland

Ruth has extensive experience of carers issues' in Scotland. In the past she has worked with carers at first hand and she currently works closely with the Scottish Executive and statutory, academic and voluntary organisations to develop innovative new services and support for carers.

Danni Manzi, Development Manager (Young Carers - England and Wales)

Danni currently provides support and information to young carers services in both the voluntary and statutory sector across England and Wales. She has experience of working directly with young carers and is able to speak on any issues that may affect them.

Louise Morgan, Development Manager (Young Carers - Scotland)

Louise works with all the young carers’ projects in Scotland and with the Scottish Executive to develop new services and legislation to support young carers. She is a member of the Executive’s National Young Carers Task Group and can speak about every aspect of issues affecting young carers.

Drew Lindon, Policy and Development Officer (Mental Health)

Drew specialises in adult and young carers looking after a person with mental health, substance misuse or dual diagnosis issues. Drew leads on developing policy and partnerships nationally in these areas and is knowledgable about related national strategy and legislation. Drew has also worked extensively with adult mental health carers on a local level.
