lulu's review of Carers in the City

This remarkable book speaks from the heart of carers and it will transport you into the daily struggles that a carer may face.

I laughed and I cried. There is great poetry and stories full of warmth and love, despair and longing. There are people crying out for help and not being heard in this world full of turmoil.

What they have managed to do is a wonderful achievement, for carers everywhere, showing that a carers life is not an easy one. They have told how we do survive and yes, together we want something better.

It was a privilege to share in their journey as I feel it will be for anyone that reads this small book, whether they are carers or not.

Remember, anyone can become a carer in an instant.
