Making a difference through corporate partnerships:

Simplyhealth
Simplyhealth have supported The Trust for over 5 years. Their funding supports the Communications work of The Trust.

In addition, 3 years ago, we developed The Simplyhealth Caring Awards. These were created to recognise and celebrate the excellent work that some GP surgeries are doing to support family/unpaid carers. There are two Awards; the Simplyhealth Caring Surgery Award (for which surgeries nominate themselves) and the Simplyhealth Carers Choice Award (for which carers nominate their GP).

Alliance Pharmacy
Alliance Pharmacy's support of The Trust through 'Charity of the Year' raised money through staff fundraising, collection tins in their stores and corporate donations. Part of the partnership focused around the identification and support of the carers who came into their pharmacies and set the foundations for many strong relationships with carers, which continue today.

The Hudson Challenge
‘The Hudson Challenge brings together our own staff with our clients for a great team-building event. Former Gladiator Ali Paton kicks off the challenge. Competitors face a number of physical and mental tasks over 3 venues and round off the whole thing with a great party and prize for the winners. We’ve raised over £24k for The Trust to date and very much enjoy working with them’. Orla Conlon, Marketing Manager, Hudsons.

Gartmore Investment Management
Gartmore Investment Management sponsored the new Scottish office and funded an extensive refurbishment. The staff now benefit from a great place to work and the charity is saving money which can be put to good use to help carers.
