Charitable Trusts and Foundations
Key individuals, their charitable trusts and grant-makers have played a vital role in ensuring The Trust meets its vision of supporting family carers throughout the UK. We have worked in partnership with charitable trusts to grow our network of Carers’ Centres and ensure they have the skills, management and expertise to deliver vital services to carers.
Charitable trusts and foundations have also played a key role in setting up grants programmes which directly help carers. These may be grants to have a break from caring, buy essential household items, pay for vital transport, do some training to help with caring or get back into employment.
Whether it’s £100 or £100,000, a one-off donation or a three year commitment, support from charitable trusts and foundations is invaluable in helping The Trust to reach and support the increasing number of carers throughout the UK.
If you are a trustee or have links with a trust and would like to know about how your funds could help family carers, please email Sandy Gravette, Trusts Fundraising Manager or call 0844 800 4361
