Carers Outreach Service is a registered charity that supports adult carers in North West Wales. We cover the counties of Gwynedd, Conwy and Anglesey and have offices in Bangor, Penrhyndeudraeth, Colwyn Bay and Llangefni. We provide a fully bilingual service and carers are welcome to contact us and request a service in either Welsh or English. We are affiliated to the Princess Royal Trust for Carers and as such are part of a network of carers’ centres across the UK. This site is provided by the Princess Royal Trust for Carers and therefore is in English only. If you would like to receive any of this information in Welsh please contact your local Carers Outreach Service office.
Perhaps you are a parent of a child with additional needs, or the parent of an adult with a learning disability, or you may be looking after a relative who is disabled or elderly and frail. Whoever you care for, your local Carers Outreach Centre may be able to help make things easier for you. We provide information about entitlements, services and individual and group support and social opportunities. We can refer you for a Carers Assessment which could open up many opportunities for you including time out from caring, sitting services and help with your caring role.
We recognise that each caring situation is unique and carers have many different needs. Our friendly and experienced team understands what it’s like to be a carer and can help you to cope with your caring role. Whether you need information, support or just some time for yourself, we are here for you.
